1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of the Land Axis platform and supplements our Terms of Service. By using the Platform you agree to comply with this AUP. Land Axis reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates this policy.
2. Data Accuracy Disclaimer
The data available on Land Axis is sourced from third parties and government agencies and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or missing entirely.
Users must acknowledge and accept that:
- Planning zones, overlays, and property attributes displayed on the Platform may not reflect the current legal position;
- Property boundaries are indicative only and are not a substitute for a registered survey;
- Feasibility figures and development potential estimates are based on assumptions and are for preliminary modelling only;
- Data may contain errors, gaps, or inconsistencies that Land Axis cannot guarantee to detect or correct in real time;
- No data on the Platform should be used as the sole basis for any commercial, legal, or planning decision.
Always independently verify information with the relevant council, planning authority, or a qualified professional before acting on it.
3. Permitted Use
You may use the Platform to:
- Search for and review property and planning information for lawful due diligence purposes;
- Run preliminary feasibility analysis for property development projects;
- Save and manage projects and sites within your account for your own internal business use;
- Export data and reports for use in your own work, provided you credit Land Axis and do not misrepresent the data.
4. Prohibited Use
You must not use the Platform to:
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically download data without prior written consent from Land Axis;
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense Platform data or outputs to third parties without written authorisation;
- Create competing products or services using data obtained from the Platform;
- Circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or authentication mechanisms;
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information to the Platform;
- Use the Platform in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks;
- Use automated bots, scripts, or crawlers to access the Platform without written permission;
- Conduct any activity that violates any applicable law, including privacy laws, copyright laws, or anti-money-laundering regulations.
5. User Responsibility for Decisions
You are solely responsible for any decisions, actions, or omissions you make in reliance on information obtained from the Platform. Land Axis expressly disclaims all liability for loss or damage arising from your reliance on Platform data, including but not limited to financial loss, planning refusals, failed transactions, or legal liability to third parties.
6. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any misuse of the Platform or a potential data error that may mislead other users, please report it to us at admin@landaxis.com.au.
7. Enforcement
Land Axis reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to investigate and take appropriate action against any user who violates this AUP, including suspending or terminating their account, removing content, and referring matters to law enforcement authorities.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
